My longest post
This is gonna be my longest post ever. just came back from jys, which rocked, but i will say more later. scroll down & see...
lets start with last saturday. prefects day. we went 2 escape theme park. lots of fun, but i dropped my phone into the water on the wet n wild ride. thankfully it dried out and works now. went on the viking ship 4 my first time. quite fun cos we sat in e middle, but i could see that the ppl at the ends were screaming and gonna puke. luckily we didnt sit there. and i almost managed to steal paul's phone. but he realised. haha
next day: sunday. went 4 fl as usual. then after everything we had a vbc meeting until 3 somethin, i think. bryant's dad did some magic. as usual. and then i had 2 go home 4 tennis.
monday - tuesday: our amazing race. first day was training. like how 2 read a map & get bearings. and my group totally failed our bearings training. then we all slept for abt 1 - 2 hrs and woke up at 5 am for the actual race. we spent like 1 and a half hrs walking thru nus to get 2 pasir panjang rd. then we went 2 our 2nd checkpt within half an hr. we walked all over past e science park. i cant remember e order, but i noe we went 2 sun yat sen memorial (@ ah hood rd), merlion, somewhere at redhill, masjid fatimah mosque, mt pleasant hospital (@ barker rd) and then back 2 school. so we walked 35 km. abt there. after passing buona vista station, we saw jeremy's grp, so we ran all the way back using the acjc route. didnt noe i would be able 2 run after walking so much. then we found out we wasted our energy cos jeremy's grp had to walk cos 1 of their members had asthma. sad. but its ok i guess. anyways, we won but the prize was 1 trophy. so we gave it 2 the leader. who happened 2 be the sec 1.
wed - thurs: guitar in the afternoon. 1st day, i went early cos i didnt noe the meeting was 4 committee... haha.lol. nothin much 2 talk abt. except i m section leader 4 prime 1 which is not very good, since we r all so slack. o yea, 1st day we only played guitar 4 like half an hr. haha.
friday - sat: ushering 4 iso day @ moe. i thot we were supposed 2 be there until 5 on friday, but we ended @ 3.30. so i went 2 borders. the actual thing was not very exciting, prefects duty is a little more exciting. maybe thats cos hardly anyone wants 2 park @ the track. and the lts were so near the track, we only had 2 usher them 4 100 metres or so.
sat - monday: jyc!!!! i only went at like 7.3o on saturday cos of the ushering. even tho it ended at 1. cos we had to go out 4 a while, so my parents could only get me 2 sentosa after dinner. i got there just in time 4 nite games. which was just catching. but quite fun cos we finally caught ryan and mark. the 2nd round i was being chased, then i managed 2 hide 4 a while cos i tricked some ppl that i was catching ppl. then lionel saw me and dragged me to e "torture chamber"... so lame. they just have to use toothpaste and flour. i bet they'll use it again next year. somehow i managed 2 sleep, but i woke up @ 2am. then i saw the stupid lights shining thru the window & thot it was morning. then i checked my watch and realised that it was just the corridor lights. nxt dae was games. amazing race again. quite fun but since we werent so obsessed with winning, we ended up playing at the merlion walk. so in the end evrone got wet. but i guess my grp was ok: me, sparky, sprky's cousin, jotham, cynthia, abraham, mc, and i cant remember e other names. sorrie!!! cos i wasnt at ice breakers. and didnt get 2 noe them. argh. anyways when we got back it was dinner & cop. and pastor joel came 2 speak and pray. i like his messages/sermons the most. he is more interesting. anyway, worship @ camp was great. that night we didnt sleep. cos me, ryan, yvette and sze ying were like playing cards/truth or dare the whole night. haha. maybe we should hav slept a bit cos i was like sooo sleepy during worship. n then todae (tuesday) i only woke up @ 11. haha. but anyways the last night was gr8. last year i like missed the 1st and last night. horrible huh xD... so anyways we broke camp and got back 2 church at 1. then i wen 2 uncle francis' house 4 lunch. and beckie is liked soooo obssesed with her phone. nvrmind. ill say it again. jyc rox.
tell the world that jesus lives. i realli luv that song. i am gonna try 2 do that. telling the world. but first i hav 2 change my life. quite a few things abt my life actually. then i will be ready. to tell evryone abt GOD...
argh. i spend so long blogging this. think i will have to put of the rest till next time. i wil talk abt faith. if i remember. and my great frens. haha. happy holidays!!!
