sunrise. with GOD.

i heard this story from devotions today... thot it was realli helpful...

a customer walked into a barber shop for a haircut, and before long he had brought up the topic of GOD's existence to the barber. the customer said, "God is definitely real", only to be rebutted by the barber, "no He is not, all you need to do is walk out on the street and you would realise that. if God was real, He wouldnt be letting all those people out there starve and suffer, he wouldnt let people fight wars, he wouldnt let people kill each other. if God was real, there would be peace on earth."

not wantin to start an argument, the customer kept quiet and had his hair cut. however as he was paying up and about to leave, he declared, "barbers dont exist." upon hearing that the barber immediately responded, "of course they exist, i just cut your hair for you. and i am a barber!". yet the customer insisted, "barbers dont exist. just look out of the window: see that man with the messy long hair and thick beard? if barbers existed he wouldnt have such long hair. so you dont exist.". the barber replied, "of course i exist. its just that not everyone comes to me. thats why there are still people with long hair out there.".

the customer merely said, "exactly. God exists too. its just that lots of people dont come to him." and walked out of the shop.

well, that was my own interpretation of the story. cos i wasnt realli payin full attention to the devotions, so i put in some parts myself. but the gist of the story is this. GOD is real for everyone. its whether you believe in Him or not.

speakin abt believin, when u believe that GOD is real and He will help u, he will. i tried it. i just finished readin e prayer of jabez 4 teens. realli cool book. like left behind. anyways, there is a real difference in my life wif when i believe and i dun. so believe.

anyways the week has been fine, just that homework has been piling. a lot. like theres no such thing as holidays. so many projects. just hope the rest of the year wont be so bad. actually our teachers are quite nice, sadly we changed a math and bio teachers who were like the best. booo.

o well my class still rox. an i should be doin my commonwealth now, so better start. or i will fail everythin this year. especially math and chinese. luckily our teachers rock so much i might be able to catch up. just that the chinese teacher is a little too chinesy thats all... so bye everyone.
