BACK FROM CHURCH CAMP!
it didnt feel like one though. although i hope that my life is different after this. quite an impact but i dunno if it will last. i hope it does. ill try and make sure that it does.
1st day.
ate breakfast at ghim moh market wif nick's family and sam cheam's parents. yups. then we left for malaysia. went to nick's dad's (uncle hock ching) factory. or should i say one of the factories he just happens to owns. this one dealt wif plastics. manufacturing casings for HP printers. cool huh. they have like these tiny plastic pellets, they melt them down and cast them in a mold. its all usin machines. it cools and the machine drops it on a conveyer belt. and the worker checks for faults and packs in in a bag. abt 50 machines on the factory floor i think. around there. then the stuff gets packed. and then eventually brought up to the second level. where they assemble it usin moving production lines. everyone adds 1 part to the thing. finally its packed up. even got ppl pastin hp stickers on the covers. cool. and its 24 hr production. yay.
so we went 2 e hotel, checked in, slacked around. yups. had dinner, 1 session wif pastor alvin, which was quite slack. then went to grace's room to play cards wif her, yvette and rach.
2nd day.
woke up a bit the late. cos me and my bro had 1 room, parents had another so no one to wake us up haha. so then eat a yucky breakfast. then go for worship. and then more sessions. with some games. but it didnt help that i had 2 weirdos in my gp. one who kept sneezin and askin for tissues, and another who was just plain weird. although i cant blame the 2nd one cos he has some condition. yups so after lunch was soccer time. like we played for abt 1 hour plus. and i did a triple header. i dun noe how. i just stood there and for some reason the ball bounced on me 3 times. o well. and another time it seriously just rolled over me. so now pastor joel thinks i have static electricity or sth. lol. but anyways it was a fun game even though there were loads of ppl. and after that we just jumped into the pool. mark, lionel, guo nian, the lims, audrey & amanda, jansen & john. we were attemptin to play 10 player monkey but every 5 minutes u would hear someone shouting "CRAMP!" and then play would be interrupted. that was the second time in my life i got a cramp. or cramps. so after that we washed up, played cards and ate dinner. then went for another session with pastor alvin. fun.
3rd day.
wake up late. eat. session. debate. which was fun. although mark got quite worked up. and we lost. at least i managed to talk quite ok. cos there werent any debators there. and i was 1st speaker. hah. then lunch. then soccer again. and some tennis. that made me realise i seriously forgot how to play. then slack. play more cards. then dinner and session. and then. cards. although our card sessions were mostly stone and laugh and play 1 game. all grace's fault. then. WORLD CUP. wheee. went to jansen's room 2 watch and eat ramly. hahahahhaa. mark's dad bought for everyone. it was nice but no egg. sadly. still. so the game started @ 12 midnight. and it was cool man. a goal every six minutes for the first 18 minutes. germany 2, costa rica 1. then some boring stuff and 2 amazing goals frm germany. and a nice one frm costa. the guy, wachope, scored BOTH. pro for a costa rican. too bad no hat trick. and frm germany, Klose scored 2. then got subbed out. soooo close to a hat trick. geddit? klose? close? guo nian's joke. but anyways went back at 2 and slept.
today.
everyone woke up late. and went for breakfast late. reuben and beckie didnt even wake up, they slept till lunch. so anyways we had a short sermon after worship. quite. interesting. ya then holy communion. with weird bread dipped in wine. wheee. quite nice actually. then after that. stone, play guitar. o yea did i say i brought my guitar 4 camp? haha. so then lunch. and jumpin up and down on a giant see-saw thingy. the small kids were like sitting at the ends tryin to get thrown off. lol. then more cards. then HOME. whee. and now im here. yay.
i think i shall go slack. byebye.
