iba is.. quite fun.
today i got to amend some stuff in documents for court. i never knew that in cases of unnatural death due to negligence, etc. u can collect damages frm e person, amounting to all the pay the deceased would have received up until his retirement. lol...
i mean even though we might not get paid, i think ive learnt quite a bit abt law frm this job. like all the stuff abt affidavits, which are basically evidence, PTCs, which are pre-trial conferences. and stuff like that. and its been fun typin court documents and correspondence. for clients. and faxing and posting. except that they use diskettes. lots and lots of diskettes. which take 15 seconds to save a word document. o well. although i guess if i were a lawyer it might get borin after a while. since mr. sarjeet says that he hardly goes to court for a actual trial. mostly its easily settled.
and today we had to search for a file. havin been told it was a orange file, we couldnt find it. then later when someone came to help, she realised it was yellow. and it happened to be one of the first few files that me and sam noticed on our first day. o well... sometimes things are right under our noses. and we dont realise it. so we let it slip. and then when we realise, we regret it for the rest of our lives. thats life. if not we wouldnt be human. we wouldnt be happy, ever, cos we would never have been sad.
