emergency brakes
screech the brakes.
played soccer today, but since it just HAD to rain at 6, i could only play at 630. and now my shoes are WET. grr. well today had less people but just as many vulgarities. either way my team pwned them. there. think you're that pro eh. cant even beat us and i dont even play soccer properly. and this small boy went around telling everyone he trashed me 10-7 in a soccer game. he cant even kick the stupid ball. we pass to him, he attempts to stop it and it rolls past him. totally awesome.
well. teachers day is tomorrow. russell cycled out to buy cookies, so now russ jonas and me will have presents to give! fascinating. just that we have to write the notes 2moro morning. somehow must find time between aces day run and teachers day concert.
speaking of time. i was reading a book the other day talking about time warps. according to it, the earth is stuck in a time warp where everything has already happened. there is no future, only the appropriate time for something to occur. everything in the universe has been discovered already, all the inventions invented. just waiting for that moment to spring out of the time-space continuum and shock us with unerring effeciency. the only people experiencing real time are those travelling in space. if only life were that simple. well, maybe we're better off the way we are with unpredictable circumstances.
world scholar's cup. i think i shall take part in it with jeremy and russell. not that i think itll get me into an ivy league university, but i think itll help me to study and stuff. either way, the topics are fascinating: science (astronomy and space exploration), social science (explorers of the past and present), economics, literature, fine arts (8 artworks and a movie), math. social science sounds the most interesting. i just cant wait to .... mug. for that at least.
lousy term 3 average of 83.9. a project term and i cant even get top in class. get beaten by kevin wong again. ive figured, i have to beat shaun by 6 percentage points in end years to top the class. anyone want to help me mug? ive got to prove myself. break out of the 3 year slack mood ive been in since sec 2.
